Journey Beyond Belief

The “moving to a new home” energy had been building in my body for weeks as my mind repeatedly said “No, moving is expensive, I don’t have the money and it would be a distraction to building my business.  Besides I love it here and yes, it’s been stressful to meet the financial obligations.’  I’d been vacillating for months between having a housemate to share the expenses and maintaining the guest room for the guests I love to have thus clouding the signal that blocks the Universe from providing what I desire.

Intuitive Intervention

On April 20,the fourth anniversary of living in the home I’d loved since moving to Arizona, my intuitive voice said to go on Craig’s list to look for a housemate.  I dutifully obeyed finding a promising possibility to which I replied immediately.  Next I was told to check out the listings “just to see what’s going on in the marketplace”.  Two listings stood out – one in Prescott Valley, where I currently lived, and one in Prescott, where I’ve always wanted to live.  I saw both the next day and the rest, as they say, is history.  Living in a Carriage House had been a long time dream and this one made every cell in my body light up like the Fourth of July Macy’s fireworks display in New York.  Returning the next day to measure, as my attachment to my king size bed would be a deal breaker if it didn’t fit, I was told that someone who’d seen the place previously wanted until the next afternoon to decide whether to take the place or not.  Believing that “If it belongs to me, it will be here; if not, it won’t,” I proceeded with the measurements.  The next evening the call came – the place was mine if I wanted it!  With an exuberant heart and some big butterflies in my stomach, I immediately said yes, making the arrangements to sign the lease two days later.  Within 72 hours, it was done.  Talk about feeling like a whirling dervish!  Three weeks after signing the lease I was moving in.  As everything about this move unfolded with such grace and ease, it was truly evident this belonged to me.  This dream had taken the Universe more than 10 years to create.

As soon as I embraced moving, the support poured in.  When I told my current landlord that much of my furniture was for sale, he revealed they had just bought a house in Sun City West and were looking for used furniture!  Well, they bought almost all of it!!  A dear friend gave me an area rug that was perfect in color and design for my new bedroom.  The best friend of another friend has a variety of trucks and crew that could move me much less expensively than the self-rental or moving company options.  And, they were fabulous to work with no breakage or damage done.  Several great friends agreed to help pack and move boxes to my new place to lighten the load and time for the movers with two of them buying other items that were for sale.

A Previous Intuitive Message Unfolds

Another intuitive message received a couple of months ago, also began playing out in miraculous ways as my move was progressing.  I was told to share information about the energetic bodywork processes I’d been learning and using with my Naturopath and gift her with a session as she could be a great source for referrals while possibly leading to my having office space in her building in the future.  Written information was given to her soon thereafter and yes, she was receptive to experiencing a session that occurred a few days prior to my moving into my new home.  As we talked after the session, she disclosed that one of the practitioner rooms was being vacated asking if I was interested.  After a few seconds of speechlessness, I told her of my intuitive message, never dreaming the space would be available immediately!  After looking at the space and learning it would be available exactly when I could leave my current office space coupled with the attractive agreement and financial structure, this was truly an offer I couldn’t refuse.  As I drove home, delirious with all the good fortune coming my way, I called a friend to share what had just happened.  As I told her the story, she quickly suggested she share the space with me adding to the sweetness of this possibility as my morning part time job precludes my using the space full time on weekdays.  So the financial aspects of this deal just became REALLY attractive.  After seeing the space together the next day, we agreed to take it!  So this deal was done in less than 24 hours!!

Now for the pay offs!

Having listened to and honored my body’s request for rest and regrouping in April, my income had decreased significantly so when I saw the Carriage House on April 20, I wasn’t clear how all of the financial aspects of this move would work.  The many facets that quickly unfolded were less monthly rent in my new place, refund of my security deposit from my old place, consigning clothes, donating those not taken plus other household items to the charities supported by this consignment shop resulting in nice tax deductions; selling CDs to a store next door to the consignment shop and donating the rest to the charity they support; selling the furniture to my landlord and friends as mentioned earlier, receiving refunds/credits from utilities and getting 6 new clients in May while little or no focus was given to my business!  Another real bonus is being so much closer to everything that during the first full week I drove less than 100 miles whereas my previous weekly mileage totals were between 250 – 300 miles!  So the savings of time and gas are already significant.

Abundance and prosperity come in many forms.  Willingness to take the leaps of faith has always brought amazing miracles and pay offs into my life.  Having my new home and office space appearing so quickly and effortlessly has deepened my knowing of what more is possible when resistance is released allowing the space for receiving even more than I could imagine to expand into living the life of my dreams and more!
